Onyx is built and supported by one person — Matthew Miller (TheMillerBrand). Here's how to get help.

Getting help

Email [email protected] for anything: bug reports, feature requests, account questions, refund requests, accessibility issues, or just to say what's working.

I aim to respond within 2 business days. Most things get a same-day reply.

What to include

For bug reports, the more context the better:

Common questions

My recovery score won't compute. Onyx needs a few days of Apple Watch data — at minimum HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep — to build your baseline. New users see a "Building your baseline" note for the first week.

My workout didn't save to Apple Health. Make sure write access is enabled in iOS Settings → Privacy → Health → Onyx. Empty workouts (zero completed sets) are intentionally not saved.

I can't restore my Pro purchase. In Settings → Onyx Pro, tap "Restore purchases." If that doesn't work, email me with your Apple ID region and the date of purchase.

I had v1 of Onyx and I'm not seeing Pro. v2.0 grandfathers all v1 users into Pro automatically — but if the detection missed you, email me and I'll fix it.

Refund: Refunds for Apple In-App Purchases are handled by Apple. Use Apple's standard refund flow at reportaproblem.apple.com. I can't issue Apple-side refunds directly, but I can help you sort out what's happening.

Cancel my subscription: iOS Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Onyx → Cancel.
